First date was Friday for happy hour. We went to one of my favorite places for happy hour and he's new to the area so I told him I would choose then. We'll call him Art guy. Art guy works for a printing business locally and he had me e-mail him one of my favorite pictures and he had it printed on this metal which made the colors really pop! It is amazing and I love it! Don't love him so much....soooo not my type...older, 38, which is fine but he is so aloof and just spacey. Don't know how to describe it but there's no way for a second date. I couldn't wait for the first date to be over with....lol. Then about an hour after we left he sent me a text "already missing you" ......sweet but yeah not what I wanted to hear since I'm not into him. I need to tell him sorry, just not going to work out.
Second date.....where do I begin! I'm going to call him PT, short for Physical Therapist since he is a Physical Therapist :) Last week we had made plans to go out to dinner on Monday night, yesterday. But Friday I was going to be close to his home since my brother was getting one of his tattoo's finished....about 10 mins from where he lives. So I said....I'm going to be close to you, do you want to hang out for like an hour while my brother is getting his tattoo done? We made plans for a quick drink and meeting.
So I get to the restaurant where we are going to meet....and there is this cute guy standing outside on his cell phone. He totally smiled at me so I thought that was him....I walked up and said "hello" and he said hello back and was looking at me kinda funny....so I said "PT" and he said no....I had walked up to the wrong guy!!! I was so embarrassed but also laughing...I apologized and texted PT to let him know that I was there. A few mins later this random guy walks over to me and says "sorry" and I said there's no reason to be sorry, I'm the one that should be apologizing. Then he said "well I wish I was PT"....think my face turned bright red but awesome to hear that! One of my friends said I should have got his number for a back up....LOL!
PT gets there and we grab a table. Right at this time I'm getting texts from my brother that they had to stop his tattoo because he was bleeding too much and he was ready to go home....and I drove us up there. I'm frazzled cause I don't know what to do....I want to have my quick date as planned but also need to get my brother home. PT was concerned and said let's have a quick drink and then we'll go. So we were there maybe half hour...had great conversation and then left. He suggested that I take my brother home and that he would follow me down to where I live so we could hang out more and talk. We live 31 miles apart so not bad with no traffic. I was impressed that he suggested that but also happy :) Dropped off my brother and his girlfriend that was there and then I took us to a park that over looks the ocean. I love the beach and anywhere that you can hear the waves. I apologized again for how things turned out and how chaotic and frazzled I was but I was starting to relax after being there with him. We sat on a bench with a blanket and talked for hours!!! It was so comfortable and fun! We cuddled a little bit and then at 1:30 AM we were both really tired....didn't realize it was that late. We got up to leave and he kissed me...the most gentlest, sweetest kiss ever!
We kept in contact the rest of the weekend and then he wanted to cook me dinner last night so I went over to his place. Usually I wouldn't go to a guy's place that quick but I felt comfortable with him and that I could trust him. You just have to go with your gut sometimes. So I got to his place last night and he showed me some exercises for my back (I fell last year and hurt my back pretty bad) and he adjusted my hips for me since they are not level. This is causing some of my pain and problems. He really spent some time working on my back and it was great to learn some new things from him. He cooked me steak and rice for dinner....it was delicious! He plays the guitar so I asked him to play for me and he did! He's really talented....he can listen to a song and then just start playing it....that is so amazing to me. Then we just hung out and cuddled. He's so cute with all his random kisses.....He totally surprises me at the most random moments and will just kiss me....it's like time freezes and nothing else exists or is going on at that moment.....takes my breath away! He is so romantic!!
