I've been sooo busy with life lately and haven't had much time to update. Been working too much and I went back to school so now I have commitments that come along with that. Plus I also have a side photography business and that has really picked up!! I love my photography though....lets me be creative and I'm just lost in my own world when I'm behind my camera :)
So....after being stood up by Lawyer has really made me realize that I shouldn't always believe what people or guys say to me. I usually give guys the benefit of the doubt and trust/believe them until they prove me wrong and then a whole level of trust is gone. Anyways, Lawyer viewed my profile online about 2 weeks ago (my profile is now hidden).....I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to view my profile again and if he forgot that it shows who viewed your profile then he's an idiot! Then about a week ago I had an IM from him from when I wasn't signed in and all it said was "How are you?" Seriously.....like I was going to reply to doufus! End of that....haha!
A few weeks ago I had a photography job for a big famous name car dealer in Newport Beach. It was a Friday night and I went straight from work. I was really excited but also nervous since I don't usually care for the Newport crowd. It was a great opportuinty for me to network though and promote my photography. It was a fun event....lots of cars...new and vintage so great photo opportunities....DJ....different vendors there with yummy food and drinks! So at one point I was outside taking some photos of the building since it was getting dark.....great lighting....and this car pulled up. The valet was out front and as he drove up I just got this different feeling.....he got out of his car and I snapped a quick photo of him ....don't know why I did since I usually don't do that. It was actually a pretty cool photo.....he smiled and actually walked over to me to look at the photo.....my first thought was crap, I got caught and now what? LOL! But I showed him the photo and we laughed and then he went inside to the party. I was busy buzzing around the party...doing what I was paid to do and spotted him a few times. We caught each others attention when he was waiting in line at the bar to get a drink with his friends. Later that night he walked over to me to talk to me just as two older women wanted me to take their photo but with their cell phone....yeah well I'm so used to my big nice camera it wasn't turning out right so it took forever for them to be happy with. He actually waited for a few mins and then we talked for a bit. I was actually nervous which is funny but we had some great connections. I didn't want to chat for too long since I was working this event but he asked me for my card and we said we would see each other later at the event here or there. Long story short....we have been texting ever since. He pretty much grew up on the east coast and last lived in New York so I'm going to call him "NY". He just moved out here a few months ago for his job which turns out to be pretty close to mine. I've already told him that I was dating someone but that it would be nice to be friends and get to know him. He is very respectful of that and I really appreciate it :) I wonder....were we supposed to meet....cause there is this energy about him that is different and draws us together.....
I do have a new work stalker but that deserves it's own post.....
