New Work Stalker

It never fails….I have a new work stalker! Where do I even begin…..

My friend at work and also cube neighbor pointed out to me that this one guy was over in our area all of a sudden. We sit outside his bosses office and now stalker is always down there talking to him. I didn’t think anything of it until he sent me an e-mail that was work related (I’m now thinking he really didn’t need to send me the e-mail but it was an excuse for him to e-mail me). He was nice in the e-mail…said hope your day is going well or something like that so I replied and said the same back to him…..I would do that to anyone that e-mailed me. Well we e-mailed back and forth a few times….he added me on IM (we use IM within our depts.) and was messaging me like crazy that first day. I told him that I was kinda dating someone and he did not understand that. He later found me on FB that night and then I got sick with the flu so missed the next two days of work…thank god! Oh but he didn’t forget about me….lol!

He sent me a message on FB – “Hey doll :) U ok?? Not feeling so good huh?”

I replied with “I have the flu bad!”

He then later replied with “Aww so sorry :( If you are bored or if u feel works and I can cheer you up, let me know. U can text me (insert his phone number here)”

Really…..how much more direct can you be?? Yeah I never replied to that one! Then later that weekend he sent me another message on FB….oh and he was out of town for the weekend on a golf trip…and I know this cause he decided to share all this crap with me….lol. So the next message was “Hey u. Way over here and I just thought of you” Ummmmm can I say creepy??!!

So then of course when I was back at work the next week he had to IM and ask how I was feeling but I kept it short and made sure to mention that I was dating. He then said “well, you have my number so you can call me if you want”…..really?? Does that crap work on girls???

The next day my co-worker texted me as I was driving into work and said that stalker is outside smoking conveniently at the time that I would be coming into work….hmmmm! I told her thanks for the heads up!! Oh then later that day when I was leaving he was outside smoking again…..OMG! I can’t stand smoking or could never, ever date a smoker! So gross!

Then another day that week he comes over at 4 when he was leaving and asks me if I have seen his boss….what am I the office police and keep tabs on the managers now?? It was so random and awkward…I said nope I’ve been busy working…hahaa! What I really wanted to say is….ummm my back is to his door and I don’t have eyes on the back of my head so how would I know where your boss is?? Ugh!

Now that I know his voice and when I hear it and tense up…..haha….and I bunker down in my cubicle with no intentions of leaving to run into him in the hallways…..I really just want to crawl under my desk and hide!
