So, the first date was on a Monday night. We'll call him "Eye Doc" since he is an Optometrist. We hadn't planned on meeting that night....been texting over the weekend....and he wanted to go see a movie that night. Not your typical good first date thing to do but I figured why not....lol. We met for coffee before and chatted. Watched the movie and he walked me to my car after...said good night and off we went. Texted that week....kept in touch. But here's the weird thing....so that Saturday he texted me in the afternoon and asked what I was doing. I told him I was busy with a photography client (I do photography on the side....) and then I met up with some friends to grab a quick dinner after. He then asks again what I was doing...so I said going home cause I had a sore throat and then he says "Oh well I was going to invite you over to watch a movie"......really, just be a man and if you wanted to try to make plans then ask up front....don't keep asking what I'm doing and then when I'm busy say you were going to ask me out....I was annoyed. So we still have not met up again....just texting here and there....I let him contact me and see if he actually gets the nerve to ask me out. His birthday is today so "happy birthday eye doc"
Second date was that Friday (had a few days off in between to do other things and catch up on sleep...lol). I'll call this guy"UK boy" since he is from London...which makes for a very nice accent ;) We had tried to meet up the week before and had planned 2 dates before but he got sick and kept canceling on me. We finally met in person and my first thought was OMG...he's soooo short! Now, I'm short, 5'1" and for me to say a guy is short, he is short! I was wearing flats too and he was maybe, maybe 3 inches taller then me?? Usually this is not a big deal for me but it kinda is....lol. Dinner was good.....he talks a lot and I have to really pay attention to understand everything with his accent. Night was good....walked to our cars and off we went from there. We've talked a few times but have not met up again yet. I figured I should at least give them all 2 dates and then decide if I'm really interested. He actually called me today and I still need to call him back....I'll do that when I'm done blogging :)
Third date was Sunday of that week.....can't think of a name for this guy...he is a full blooded Italian so "TBD Italian" for now....lol. We went to dinner...hit it off and before we knew it, it was almost 3 hours later! Both of us being Italian we had a lot to talk about :) He was even cuter in person too....dressed nice and I remember when I first saw him, my first thought was wow! He is very sweet and traditional which is great! We then talked about going to Disneyland since he has a pass as well and went the following Wednesday...he took the day off work :) It was so sweet that he did that....it was a great day and we had a ton of fun....so comfortable. We were a little cuddly but still no kiss.....I made sure no kiss yet. We text all the time and had plans to go out tonight but I wasn't feeling well so we changed plans to dinner this coming Monday. His birthday is Wednesday (what is it with me meeting guys and their birthdays are right around the corner??) so we're celebrating early and then he invited me to the Laker game next Friday already. He's a huge Laker fan so it should be a lot of fun!
I'll keep you posted of what happens....but if I had to pick one right now to date it would definitely be TBD Italian :)
